Aerial
Fitness
This scope of practice uses an apparatus attached to the ceiling to support the body in suspended shapes. It's a unique fusion of yoga, dance and acrobatics to give you a fun and challenging workout experience.
Friends! With the stage of my pregnancy and my quickly approaching due date, I am not taking on new aerial students at this time. IF YOU ARE A CURRENT STUDENT- I AM STILL TEACHING! REACH OUT VIA TEXT TO SCHEDULE. Once baby comes, I'll be taking just a few short weeks off of teaching before jumping back into the air. My current expectation is to have regular appointments available again starting the first or second week of January, at which point I will also have a new aerial location opened up to give us higher ceilings and endless possibilities!
Ways to Fly
Hammock: This practice uses silk attached to the ceiling in a "hammock" fashion. With the aid of our hammock, we move the body through shapes that closely resemble a yoga practice. Some shapes are on the ground, some can be fully suspended in the air. This is a great practice to start building upper body and grip strength!
Aerial Silks: In this practice we use two fabrics instead of one. This gives us a little more freedom to explore the acrobatic side of aerials!
Aerial Hoop: Using a steel hoop, we incorporate acrobatics and aerial with dance. Lose yourself to the music and feel your confidence soar!
